Alyshia Holden – Executive Director
Alyshia Holden is the Executive Director of the Assiniboine College Students’ Association. As an Assiniboine College Alumni who graduated in June of 2017, Alyshia holds a diploma in Social Service Work. Alyshia has also completed her levels 101 & 102 of the American Sign Language Course at the college as well.
After graduation, Alyshia held positions with In Company of Friends as a Coordinator, At AFM as a Residential Care Worker, Brandon Friendship Centre as the Coordinator of the Brandon Access Exchange Service, and she was the Program Coordinator at the ACSA.

April Conkright – Program Coordinator
April Conkright is the Program Coordinator for the Assiniboine College Students’ Association. Originally from Kentucky, she holds an Advanced Diploma in Human Resources from Assiniboine College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Western Kentucky University.
In her role, April supports student clubs, plans events, develops programs, and serves as the primary student advocate.
She brings over seven years of experience working in college and university settings and joined the Students’ Association as an Events Assistant in 2023 before moving into her current role.

Karley Woods, Marketing & Communications Coordinator
Karley Woods is the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for the ACSA. As a Assiniboine College Alumni who graduated in June of 2022, she holds a diploma with distinction in Interactive Media Arts with a specialization in design and development.
Karley manages the Students’ Association website as well as the ACSA’s social media content. She creates content such as graphics, posters and organizes campaigns for the ACSA.
Karley’s prior experience includes working in finance as a Client Advisor with Royal Bank of Canada, Technology and Academic Assistant for the University of British Columbia and Customer Service with Dufresne Furniture & Appliances where she won a Foundation of Excellence Award for Guest Advocacy.

Ginnut Gafrin, Office and Services Administrator
Ginnut Gafrin is the Office and Services Administrator for the Assiniboine College Students’ Association. Ginnut holds a diploma in Business Accounting from Fanshawe College as well as a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences from Rajshahi University in Bangladesh.
Ginnut has direct experience supporting staff and students in high traffic environments, with great attention to detail and accuracy. Her additional experiences have allowed her to further develop her experience in accounting. In addition to this, Ginnut has learned how positive experiences can influence customer relationships. This knowledge has resulted in positive customer experiences for those she has helped.
