Power Up: Strengthen your body and mind runs Monday, September 8 through Sunday, September 14. What aspect of your health would you like to strengthen – physical, mental, emotional or spiritual? Focus on that one this week.
Strengthen your body:
Movement and exercise promote overall well-being. Did you know that many of Assiniboine campuses now have fitness equipment that you can use? Assiniboine students and staff can access the Victoria Avenue East Fitness Centre 6 am to 10 pm, seven days a week. North Hill (LECTT and MICA), Parkland, Winnipeg and Southport campuses now have fitness equipment available.
Looking for a variety of at home workouts, check out the FITON app (the free option offers good variety of workouts) or the WORKOUT (YouTube channel) that offers lots of fitness options with or without equipment.
