Alec Walters – Health & Human Representative

Good day, my name is Alec Walters. I am a first year student and I am a part of the Social Service Worker programme and am a candidate for the position of Health and Human Services representative. I have prior experience being a member of a student council where I served as a vice president and aided in representing students and helping them to address their concerns. We were able to successfully carry out activities such as a ‘Clean Up Day’ where clubs and societies came out to clean our school community and a Town Hall where students were able to have the concerns directly addressed by members of the schools executive committee. As a first year student I may not be aware of all the concerns that students within this programme may have, but I am willing to listen and learn through active engagement with you and help us to grow as individuals. I believe that by working together and trusting in each other we can have a productive school year. I look forward to the opportunity to be a strong voice for my fellow students and act as an agent for positive change. Thank you.
