Rena Buenavista, International Representative

Rena is an International Student in her first year of Office Management Program at Assiniboine. She decided to study in Canada to pursue her dream and ambition in life – to become a successful leader. During her high school and college years, she dedicated herself to community service, serving students, the school, and the community. She is passionate about organizing activities. Rena decided to run for student council, for two reasons: to help students, most importantly the International Students, and in her capacity, in dealing with the agony of being away from home; and, to promote activities to improve the well-being of the students while studying. Rena is also dedicated to her family, so she can be your sister too. Mental awareness is important to her, most specially that there are a lot of students that need to know how to balance school and personal life. You can approach and talk to her whenever you see her on campus, she is very friendly, or even just contact her, she will be there for you when she is available. You are not alone!
