SUMMARY:Moose Hide Campaign Day Community Walk
DESCRIPTION:On May 14th\, join Assiniboine College and the Brandon Urban Aboriginal Peoples’ Council for the Moose Hide Campaign Day Community Walk. The Moose Hide Campaign is an Indigenous-led grassroots movement that brings together men\, boys\, and all Canadians in a shared commitment to ending violence against women\, children\, and all those along the gender continuum. \nTogether\, we will raise awareness\, support reconciliation\, and take meaningful steps toward creating communities rooted in respect\, safety\, and inclusion. \nThe walk begins at 1:30 p.m. in Princess Park and will be followed by a community BBQ. You can pick up your moose hide pin in the Cultural Centre (room 430A) at the Victoria Ave East Campus\, or at the ACSA office in Crossroads. \nTo learn more about the national Moose Hide Campaign and discover additional ways to help end gender-based violence\, visit moosehidecampaign.ca.
